  1. Tatung 1024x768 X Term Install

I'm installing an old Tatung 1024x768 X-term. It's about 10 years old or
so. After setting up the fonts and fixing up fedora xdm to allow tcp
connections etc... I'm getting the following error from xdm:

    Warning: Cannot convert string
    "-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal--18-180-75-75-p-98-iso8859-1" to type
    FontStruct Warning: Cannot convert string
    "-adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal--18-180-75-75-p-103-iso8859-1" to type
    FontStruct Warning: Cannot convert string
    "-adobe-helvetica-bold-o-normal--24-240-75-75-p-138-iso8859-1" to type
FontStruct X Error of failed request: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or
    Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 14 (X_GetGeometry) Resource id in
    failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 298 Current serial number in output
    stream: 298

Anyone know what the issue here is? Is the problem a lack of a config for
the xterm and thus the display size etc is all wrong?

    Thanks
    Peter.

Do the required fonts need to come from the server (the xterm)?

Yeah it needs 1) the old snf style fonts and 2) the specific fonts for
this x-term (I think). If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

    Peter.

Yeah I'm not sure the fonts really mattered so much, but I did find a
bunch after scrounging around. It got rid of the original error, but I'm
    still getting this:

X Error of failed request: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 14 (X_GetGeometry)
Resource id in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 292
Current serial number in output stream: 292

    Any help??

    Thanks
    Peter
