  1. xorg.conf: Multiple "Modes" and "Virtual" settings

    hi all,

I need some clarifications regarding the "Screen" section.
There I can define multiple SubSection "Display" with different modes but it
seems that Virtual is being ignored.

I want e.g. two settings "1400x1050" and "1024x786" and in both I want
individual Virtual sizes. I.e. in 1024x786 I want 1024x786, and in
1400x1050 I want the 1400x1050 resolution. Now, if I switch using
Alt+Ctrl++ to the 1024x768 mode, it has the virtual 1400x1050 desktop so
that the desktop always slides around if my mouse touches the edges.

E.g. if I press Alt+Ctrl+[+-] I want that the Virtual sizes also change
    is that possible?

    Thanks.

Found it out through #xorg and #kde:
xrandr offers the capability. And the kcontrol app in kde lets one control
it using the nice kde desktop environment.

    Nevertheless, thanks.
