Hi I have a problem and I hope someone can help me with that.

I am having problems that XVideo doesn't work correctly when using
some timings. I only get a blue window (note xvinfo still returns
information and all apps think everything is fine).

I have a Matrox G450 PCI card. I have set up the matroxfb driver
to use

This is a timing for TV out. I am using a hardware Sync converter
to convert the separate H/V sync to composite sync.
This all works fine. Only when I try to play some video I only
get a blue window (sound is there, so xine really thinks it is
displaying video).

I have tested the same resolution with a different timing
and that worked (I got video). I have tried another timing
with interlaced and that worked as well.

I have tried to run X without the
UseFBDev option but with the same result.

Does anyone have an idea what could go wrong here?

I am using the primary output from the Matrox card so xv is supported
on that output (as the tests with other timings showed).
I want to use the computer as a Entertainment device for PVR, Jukebox
and DVD/Video player so not being able to play any video
is a real show stopper for me :-(
