This is my first post here. My name is Sébastien and I have been using
Debian GNU/Linux for 2 years. This said, I am far more an end user than
a guru.

I recently installed debian with the sarge installer.

The only problem I met is related to the xserver.

Symptom: once properly configured with debconf, xserver-xfree86 displays
correctly, *but*, at reboot, the configuration does not work anymore,
and the xserver is displayed on my monitor at 60Hz instead of 75Hz.
I am able to dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 and set it up properly
once more, but this is a bit heavy for a daily user.

I would appreciate any help.
