  1. I cant get 3d accel on X using Radeon 9200 SE

Hi. I cant get 3d accelaration in X.
    My computer is:
    CPU - Athlon 2600+
MotherBoard - Assus with NFORCE2 chipset
Graphics Card - ATI Radeon 9200 SE
    Kernel - 2.6.3-7mdk

My XF86Config-4 is (i only will show the necessary information):

    Section "Module"
    Load "dbe" # Double-Buffering Extension
Load "v4l" # Video for Linux
    Load "extmod"
    Load "type1"
    Load "freetype"
    Load "glx" # 3D layer
    Load "dri" # direct rendering
    EndSection

    Section "DRI"
    Mode 0666
    EndSection

    Section "Device"
    Identifier "device1"
    VendorName "ATI"
    BoardName "ATI Radeon (fglrx)"
    Driver "radeon"
    Option "DPMS"
    # Option "UseInternalAGPGART" "no"
    # Option "Rotate" "off"
    # ChipID 0x514D
    EndSection

As you see i've tried some option that i saw when i reseached on google.

    When i make lspci:

00:08.0 PCI bridge: nVidia Corporation nForce2 External PCI Bridge (rev a3)
00:09.0 IDE interface: nVidia Corporation nForce2 IDE (rev a2)
00:1e.0 PCI bridge: nVidia Corporation nForce2 AGP (rev c1)
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device 5964 (rev 01)
02:00.1 Display controller: ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device 5d44 (rev 01)

    When i make lsmod:

    ipv6 232352 6
    radeon 127008 0
    agpgart 31016 0

And appears this message on Xfree86 log:

(WW) RADEON: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:2:0:1)
    found

    What's wrong??

    Thanks in advance,

There seems to be some problems with the 9200SE, you should take a look at
    this link,
it will most likely be helpfull for you, or you can go and download the
    officila ATI drivers.

I tried those steps but it was a failure. Someone on #mandrake channel
said to try this Option "BusType" "PCIE" and it worked!! I was able to
play tuxracer. But after a random short time my monitor went to black, he
turned off", the light of the monitor was blinking and my keyboard wasnt
    working.

I tried Option "BusType" "AGP" but didnt give direct rendering.

    Well took off the option....

I think the problem is on the AGP because of this on /var/log/Xfree86.log:

(II) RADEON(0): [drm] loaded kernel module for "radeon" driver
(II) RADEON(0): [drm] created "radeon" driver at busid "PCI:2:0:0"
(II) RADEON(0): [drm] added 8192 byte SAREA at 0xe08bf000
(II) RADEON(0): [drm] mapped SAREA 0xe08bf000 to 0x48289000
    (II) RADEON(0): [drm] framebuffer handle = 0xd0000000
(II) RADEON(0): [drm] added 1 reserved context for kernel
(WW) RADEON(0): [agp] AGP not available <--
(II) RADEON(0): [drm] removed 1 reserved context for
kernel (II) RADEON(0): [drm] unmapping 8192 bytes of SAREA 0xe08bf000 at
    0x48289000

    and on dmesg:

Linux agpgart interface v0.100 (c) Dave Jones
[drm] Initialized radeon 1.10.0 20020828 on minor 0: ATI Radeon RV280 9200 SE
[drm:radeon_cp_init] *ERROR* radeon_cp_init called without lock held
[drm:radeon_unlock] *ERROR* Process 1642 using kernel context 0
atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0x7a on isa0060/serio0).
atkbd.c: This is an XFree86 bug. It shouldn't access hardware directly.

    Some hacker can help me

Have you tried the official driver instead of the one that comes with XFree86?
I think it will work better for you.

I will try that, but first i've to use kernel 2.4.* because theres no
driver for 2.6.*. I wish there is support for agpgart for NFORCE2 in 2.4.*.
