Hello Windows experts:

I am a UNIX developer tiptoeing into the Windows world, and I
would like to create a little app that graphically shows the CPU,
memory, and disk activity caused by the "foreground" application
in Windows XP (i.e. the top window that is receiving the keyboard
clicks). This is a little utility that I intend to use to
visually show the performance of the foreground application.

Are there any system calls I can use to determine what
the "active" application actually is?
