What is the limitation of NT event log buffer size?
Hi Every body,
I am here just to know how long text in the nt event log ,for a
particular event, can be written?
I mean what is the limitation of NT event log buffer (event detail)
size?
I observed that CHKDSK at time of startup writes the log as a event in
application log. Just curious to know how long info this NT event can
hold inside
.
I wonder if you can answer this.
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Alok.

Re: What is the limitation of NT event log buffer size?
The default size is 512Kb. It can be changed in the specific log properties.
