there are several ports of all GNU tools (including find, xargs etc.)

Did you consider cygwin (free):

Or UnxUtils (free, doesn't need any DLL):

I personally use the commercial MKS Toolkit:
http://www.mks.com/de/produkte/toolkit.shtml

With these you can reuse all scripts (with a few modifications due to
different path namings etc.)
