  1. Photo Shop 5.5 sercurity issue on Win2000

    Hi NG.
Got a problem with Photo Shop 5.5 on a win2k client.
When printing is selected, it produces an error. But only when loged on as a
    domain user.
When loged on as a domain admin or as local admin, no problem printing.
It's obvious a security issue, but how do i fix this using AD.

    thanks in advance.

Add the user to the local Administratorsgroup of that computer.
It won't give him/her administratorsrights on the domain, but
    administratorrights on that computer.

    Bad idea.

With local admin rights, you can become SYSTEM.
With SYSTEM rights, you can read the SAM.
And in the SAM there is the domain admin password
hash. And that hash you can then attack.
