Duration-6+ month

The job description follows:
Primary Responsibilities:
Diagnose bugs, design efficient coding solutions to address them,
and implement them in accordance with coding standards
Develop new features, code them quickly and efficiently, and
shepherd them through QA and successful release
Help to clarify and sharpen functional requirements, communicating
effectively with non-technical staff
Understand the difference between requirements, functional design,
and technical design
Design application components to address specific business needs
Document your work clearly and concisely
Understand data models and distill them into reportable data
Participate in code & peer reviews
Estimate accurately the level of effort for programming tasks

Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in a Technical Field
2 years minimum experience in software development
Java 5, REST, MySQL, Linux, JBoss, Spring Framework, Hibernate
Strong analytical skills, reducing problems to manageable parts
Proficient in database modeling and SQL
Ability to work independently
Experience with Test-Driven Development

Desired Experience:
AJAX, CSS,
Drools (a.k.a. JBoss Rules) experience
Experience with Learning Management Systems
Previous Flash or Flex front-end development
Understanding of various software development life cycles
