    WP ConfigService as custom properties.

    At the console I saw the following parameters of interest:

    - persistent.session.level = 0
    - persistent.session.option = 0
    - timeout.resume.session = true

    The first 2 are exactly like I want them, but the 3rd param needs to be set to false to get the desired functionality.

    I then set timeout.resume.session = false, saved to Master Config, and then restarted the Portal.

    However, after updating that param, I still experience the EXACT same functionality. Those same users who were asked if they "wanted to resume their session" previously are still asked the same question.

    Any other suggestions on where I can find the session management params as to avoid all resuming of sessions?

    Yes, I have read that article and updated my properties accordingly, but I think my issue may be something different.

    I am going a different route to solve this problem, so this thread is no longer needed.

    (to solve it, I am re-writing my Selfcare portlet b/c that is where my real issue lies)

    My issue was completely a red herring, and had NOTHING to do with Resuming Session.

    It had to do with page hierarchy, user's group assignment, and lousy logging/messaging in a different tool.
