Rename Cell and Deployment Manager Name in WAS 7.0 - Websphere

This is a discussion on Rename Cell and Deployment Manager Name in WAS 7.0 - Websphere ; How can we change Cell and Deployment Manager Node name in WAS 7.0? I was able to rename nodes name using renameNode.sh command but can't change deployment manager ndoe and cell name....

    How can we change Cell and Deployment Manager Node name in WAS 7.0? I was able to rename nodes name using renameNode.sh command but can't change deployment manager ndoe and cell name.

    Here are the sample scripts from IBM which has examples for change cell name , host name etc. These are WAS 6, but should also work for WAS 7.
