I have 2 questions:

1) Is there any list of ‘administration task’ or ‘script operations’ on WAS that cannot be done ‘live’ and requires a Server restart?

(ex : if you change configuration x, it will be effective only after a restart).

2) In a WAS-ND 6.1 (cluster configuration without Session Replication), if a server restart is needed, does the Deployment Manager will restart each server one after the other and properly redirect incoming HTTP request accordingly to this sequence OR all instances in the cluster must be stopped with a lost of availability?

Thank you.

PS : I did read the article ‘Continuous availability while updating WAS’ but this article covers version 5.X back in 2004
