  1. how to perform websphere aplication server

    Hi,

i'm trying to do some performance on websphere application server v 6.0.2.21

i know that i have to make some change on these parameters

web server: threadperchild, threadlimit, maxrequestperchild (in the httpd.conf)

web container: the number of thread

orb thread: the number of thread

i have also to modify the number of connections to the database

but what i don't know is how to be sure to put the right value on this parameters

for your information: when the user connects, the number of request for the first time is between 50 and 100
the number of user is 10 user

please tell if you have an idea about this

    thank you in advance

Tuning an application server environment is a methodology, not a
one-magic-number-fits-all. There are too many variables about the pieces
of the infrastructure you use, failover, high-availability, the
performance of other systems that WAS talks to, etc.

"Performance Analysis for Java Web Sites" is a great book to walk you
through the process, it's written to help you do just what you're asking
    for.
