    Anyone had this issue before? Group is valid on the box. Figured it could be a perm issue, but perms look fine. Running websphere 6.1.0.17. Unable to start new nodeAgent profile on aix.

    Are you starting WAS as root? if not, perhaps the user you're starting
    as isn't in myGroup.

    Did you get the issue resolved?
    I am getting the same issue now.
    Please let me know what was done?

    I could find few discrepencies in the way the id was defined in the /etc/groups
