Default WebSpere MQ and VMware ESX Cloning

Has anyone out there ever cloned an MQSeries Virtual Machine on VMware ESX? How closely tied is MQSeries bound to hostname at installation/queue manager/queue creation? If one wanted to change hostname or IP address or both after an MQ Server was fully built is there anyway to enable MQ to dynamically support the hostname/ip change or would it be a reinstall/recreate MQ environment.

On DB2 is is as simple as modifying the "db2nodes.cfg" file and possibly running the "db2relocatedb" utility for instance/db name changes.
