Default WCM Content created not seen in Web Content

Hi,
I am running WPS6.0.1 and using its WCM. I want to provide news service to one portal.
When I create content component in WCM, it creates the content component and puts it under sitearea I specify.
But when I close the content, and navigate to sitearea, I don't see any content.
If I again try to create content under that sitearea again then it shows error as component with same name is already present.
And if I see that site area in Web Content Viewer portlet, I get "IWKMU1026X: File not found" error message.
(I have given correct permissions to everything already)

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks,
Chinmay

Drafts -- if you see your content item there, it means that it hasn't been published...

I have published it.
But I don't find that component anywhere. Neither in draft nor publish or anything else.
But now if I try to create the content component with same name, it doesn't let me saying component with same name already exists.
