  1. Initial queue manager creation error : Fedora Core release 5(Bordeaux)

I have installed a 90 trial of WebSphere MQ v6.0 on a Fedora Core 5(x86).

MQ displayed only 55 days after the initial install.

The install was successful but, the initial starting of the qmgr fails.

I have adjusted the kernel parameter but the error persists. Any ideas??

  2. Re: Initial queue manager creation error : Fedora Core release 5(Bordeaux)

Did you ever get this resolved? I am having a very similar problem. I installed a 90 day-trial of MQ6 on a 2k3 VM at the beginning of April, and 23 days later it said it had expired.

  3. Re: Initial queue manager creation error : Fedora Core release 5(Bordeaux)

This problem has been resolved. It is an issue with the WebSphere MQ trial copies and the fact that they have a permanent expiration date of April 29, 2008. To see the resolution, see the forum article titled WebSphere MQ V6 evaluation trial -- premature trial license expiration dated April 30, 2008.

    Thanks! Got It.
