  1. Log Fatal Message to Email

    Hi,

I'd like to log all Fatal messages in my application to an email address.
I've done this previously, in other application servers, by configuring
commons-logging / log4j with an additional log appender.

Does anyone know if it is possible to do this in WAS 6.1? If so, could you
point me to some instructions on how to configure this in WAS 6.1?

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve Earl...

Not sure I understand you question because I don't see the problem.

You can log with log4J in an application deployed on WebSphere. Nothing
special here. So, you can log your messages to a mail appender.
