  1. CVS Branches not visible RAD 6.0

    Hi,

We are using cvs with RAD 6.0.

I am trying to use a project which is on our remote cvs repository. I
have created several version tags and have also created a branch (two
including the Vendor branch). This was all done on the server using the
cvs command line interface. However, these branches and versions are
    not showing up in RAD.

Any ideas why they are not showing up?

The following shows the branches and revisions that exist on the server.

    > cvs status -v README

    ================================================== =================
    File: README Status: Up-to-date

    Working revision: 1.1.1.1.2.1
    Repository revision: 1.1.1.1.2.1
    /data_01/cvs/repositories/xenbase/gmod/README,v
    Sticky Tag: DB2_GMOD_BRANCH (branch: 1.1.1.1.2)
    Sticky Date: (none)
    Sticky Options: (none)

    Existing Tags:
    DB2_GMOD_BRANCH (branch: 1.1.1.1.2)
    DB2_GMOD_ROOT (revision: 1.1.1.1)
    GMOD_0_003 (revision: 1.1.1.1)
    GMOD (branch: 1.1.1)

    Thanks very much,

It could be that the files RAD is using to look up the tags are not
included in the version / branch. I believe that it uses the .project
    file by defult.

  3. Re: CVS Branches not visible RAD 6.0

Had similar problem and found the following solution:
    In the CVS Perspective :
    Select your project -
Right Click - Tag as Version
(even though this is not what you will do)
    In the window Expand details...
    Click on Configure tags...
Now you can select any file to reflect your cersins !!!!

    Magic!
