WSAD 5.0 and CVS problem
Hi folks,
we cannot get sources from cvs (debian linux) in wsad 5.0 (under windows
xp). Connection is possible in cvs-repositories-view but there are no
modules in the different tree views (Head, Branches, ...).
From the same machine we got it working wth eclipse 2.1; also its works from
the commandline ( cvs co ).
Any hints?
Thx, torsten.

Re: WSAD 5.0 and CVS problem
I don't think WSAD 5.0 has a cvs console window so you can watch the
conversation so you may have to stick a sniffer on the network to watch
it. The point you're at so far is cvs login has worked. I still don't
know how Eclipse reads the repository tree like it does.

Studio 5.0.x is based on the Eclipse 2.0 platform. I believe you
have to define a "Tag" (HEAD or your branch name, case
sensitively) in the repository view before you can see your
modules and projects.

Re: WSAD 5.0 and CVS problem
Hi,
I am trying to use CVS with WSAD 5 and having some problems in setting it
up.
If I import & commit some project in CVS it gives the following error.
failed to create lock directory ...........#cvs.lock No such file or
directory.
If I create a blank directory with the same name as project name then it can
commit the project to CVS.
But after commiting the project it does not show up in the head and branches
section of the WSAD CVS view.
Any suggestions

Re: WSAD 5.0 and CVS problem
It's probably a rights problem with your user id in the repository file
structure. Is your cvs server on Windows or on *nix?

Re: WSAD 5.0 and CVS problem
But I can perform all cvs activites from wincvs with the same setup.
