  1. Specify start page after log in (WPS 5.1)

    Hello,

I am working on WPS 5.1 and want to set a specific start page after users log in.
    For example, page structure:
    -A
    --A1
    --A2
    --A3
    -B
    --B1
    --B2

Now, after log in, all users are directed directly to page A, how do I get them to automatically go to page B1, without changing the page structure?
(Current solution, put a copy of page B1 above page A, so it is the first page and WPS will direct them to that one...)

    Thanks!

    Wim

hmm, I think login.redirect in ConfigService.properties may help here.

    Hi,

as long as the logged in user has access to page A, this page will always be the first page for him, if the user doesn't have access to this page, then he will see the frst page he has access to (page B in this structure). so you can control the first page by controlling access rights for diffrent users and groups.

    Aha!

Thanks Jessica, indeed it works by changing the setting in Configservice.properties.

Any idea how to change it per user group?

I don't think it is possible to set a redirect per user or per group
