Thread: Issue while using the WPS 6.0 URL in Microsoft Word or MicrosoftExcel

  1. Issue while using the WPS 6.0 URL in Microsoft Word or MicrosoftExcel

    Hi All,

I am using the WebSphere Portal(WPS)600 and WebSphere Portlet Factory 6.0.0.3.

I am facing an issue while using the WPS6.0 URL in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.

I want to open the specific page from Microsoft document or Microsoft excel.

Example: Microsoft word Document has the following hyperlink

    http://itfdelymo.itf.local:10038/wps/myportal/About
Please see the attached Microsoft Word document (test.doc).

When I clicked on this link, it opens the login page of Web Sphere Portal server. After logged in, it shows only the welcome page not the about page.

Important Note: When I am using the same URL in PDF file or IE browser, its working.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Regards
    Yogendra Mohan
