Thread: Reason 2195

  1. Reason 2195

while using IBM WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit... im trying to test some message flows.. yet, when im asking connection to DEFAULT_QUEUE_MANAGER by trying write proper XML to queue it responds with:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2195
MQJE020: CCSID not supported by queue manager

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Dear IBM, reasons descriptions are very restricted)

Queue manager seems to be fully operational and runing, port is correct, queue names are ok... what else can be wrong... and whats this CCSID, where can i check its properties, how change its values for queue managers or for broker's enqueues ?

CCSID is the character set identifier. You can find the CCSID field in
the MQMD of the message, and a more detailed description of the Reason
Code meaning in your WMQ manuals.
