Hello:

I am using Weblogic 8.1 SP2 and I want to read the tlds pertaining to
struts from the jar file. I am using JSP 1.2 compliant weblogic 8.1.
The documentation for 8.1 says that tlds can be read from jar file.
When the application is deployed on the appserver, I get the following
errors:

####

<> <>
<[ServletContext(id=31129751,name=tlx,context-path=/tlx)] Could not
load taglib from jar file
E:\bea\user_projects\domains\tlxdomain\.\tlxserver \.wlnotdelete\extract\tlxserver_tlx_tlx\jarfiles\W EB-INF\lib\struts-1.1468.jar:
this jarfile has no META-INF/taglib.tld entry (JSP 1.1 spec, 5.2.1)>

The snap of my web.xml pertaining to tlds is as follows:

http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/tags-bean
/WEB-INF/lib/struts-1.1.jar

http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/tags-logic
/WEB-INF/lib/struts-1.1.jar

and in the JSP I have used these as follows:

<%@ taglib uri="http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/tags-bean"
prefix="bean"%>
<%@ taglib uri="http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/tags-logic"
prefix="logic"%>

But the good part of this is that application works well and I just
want to know the cause of these errors. Any help pertaining to this
strange behaviour of appserver is appreciateed.

Thanks,
Deepak
