Anybody who is using db session management in wls? do you have production instance? Does it need big HW?
    How many users are there?

The expense of using db session management is both in the cost of the
database (which tends to be extraordinarily large) and the performance cost
to use serialization to a database. I've seen it used a couple of times, but
usually it gets turned off as the first step to scaling up an application.
