Thread: ld error in target shell???

  1. ld error in target shell???

    ld error in target shell???
    I use the ld command in target shell to load .out file into my
    sdram,while it appears the following probem,
    ----------------
    -> memShow
    status bytes blocks avg block max block
    ------ ---------- --------- ---------- ----------
    current free 30393760 16 1899610 30308272
    alloc 515408 173 2979 -
    cumulative
    alloc 529072 211 2507 -
    value = 0 = 0x0

    -> ld 0x21fc3324 (tShell): memPartAlloc: block too big - 1627455745 in
    partition 0x200895fc.
    Could not allocate segments
    ld error: error loading file (errno = 0x3d0001).
    value = 0 = 0x0
    ------------------
    why does the problem appear?how do I solve the problem?
    I am using Tornado2.2 on at91rm9200.
    sdram 32MB,flash 16MB.,I have made the tffs,and I could use it sucess
    in host shell(for example copy ,read open etc),

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Best Regards,

    Maybe you have configured the target shell to hold the symbol data on
    the target?
    What if you don't generate debugging symbols? Does this help?

    Take care
