    Conclude, you say the random port issue corrected from named v572 p010 to p011 does not exist on the 9.4.2-p1 used in v582.

    Ooops. Right you are.
    My (primary) newsserver had no posting at all in July (and so I missed
    this NAMED and also the FTP ECO) but my 2nd had it then...
