The significant part of the code...

$ ! Clean up and set up channel name, if on hold just exit
$ hold_list = "," + f$edit(f$logical("PMDF_HOLD"), "COLLAPSE,LOWERCASE")

$ if f$locate("," + channel_name + ",", hold_list) .lt. -
f$length(hold_list) then exit

So if the channel name is part of a comma separated list, then any
channel in that list would not process.
