This is only indirectly PDP-11-related but in case anyone cares, I found
the tiny bug in FreeDOS V1.0 which prevents it from running E11. A corrected
KERNEL.SYS file is in:
ftp://ftp.dbit.com/pub/ibmpc/freedos/kernel.sys
(And the affected source file is in the same dir -- it's just a 3-character
change.) The rest of FreeDOS comes from www.freedos.org if that's not obvious.
It's a freeware DOS replacement, written mostly in C for some reason, which
supports FAT32 and is freely distributable (unlike the freeware DR-DOS fork
which is for non-commercial use only because of the original Caldera license).
