  1. Outlook 2002 SP2 Bug Opening Archived Items

    Dear all,

Has anyone else seen this... when opening archived items with Outlook 2002
(XP) SP2 the object opens but only displays the shortcut content?

I've seen this now on a number of machines, and the only fix I've found is
to apply SP3 to the client. The items preview OK, its just when you open
them. Sometimes if you open a non-archived item above or below an archived
one, and then use the up or down arrow to select the archived message, it
will then work - but the whole thing is a bit random.

I'd like to find a solution to this as I can't easily roll out SP3 at the
    moment.

    Thanks for your help..!

    Paul.
