When you change desktopsettings, you must re-sync the mailboxes to take effect.
You can synch either one or more (or all) the mailboxes by right clicking
the archive service in the Vault Admin Console and then select the required
    synchronisation activity.

Yes, and if i try any other buttons I succeed in making the change apply to
    clients,
But only when I try the "DeleteBtnVisible = 1 (or 2)" it won't show to clients
    !!?!

    OK, Found it myself !

The solution is that you have to allow users to delete on the site-setting rules
otherwise the button does not even show up...!

    Close case

    Hello fredrik,

You need to resyncronise the users.
I.E. to test a new setting in desktopsettings.txt.
    make the change
then re sync one user to test the setting
If that doesn't solve the problem, restart the archiving service

Ok simple one easy mistake to do as well....

When you save the Desktopsettings.txt file make sure the encoding is UNICODE
    not ADSI. Hope that helps
