I have a problem with my PC using an Athlon CPU ( 900 Thunderbird).

If I use MSBackup (Cutback version Backup Exec) of my PC locks up at
Windows Desktop ( Win98SE) yes repeatable fault.

I have borrowed a full version 4.00 of Backup Exec to trial if I have the
same problem ( No I don't) but I find I can not select HDD as a backup
media.

So is there a workaround/solution?

The problem is only on my Athlon system, I have used and tested for three
years on K6 and Intel and no problems.

Any help is much appreciated
