what kind of option can i use for
    vxassist -g ....ncolumn= ??? thx

  2. Re: vxassist ncollumn options

    Hi there --

The ncolumn option is used to define the "no.of disks" in a stripe set. For
example, if you're creating a volume to be stripped across 4 physical disks,
then the value of the "ncolumn" would be "4" (ncolumn=4).

    example:
    vxassist -g DG make VOLNAME layout=stripe ncolumn=4 stwidth=128k disk01 disk02
    disk03 disk04

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Asim brother
Just you made a little mistake (on syntax error)
    # vxassist -g datadg make Vol_name 50m layout=stripe ncol=4.......
