We need to gather disk information as a non-root user from vxvm. "vxdisk
path" gives the data I need, but only root can run this command. Is there
another way to gather this information on Solaris (like in AIX)?

(I'll use sudo as a last resort, but we really don't want to do this.)

Or put another way more broadly, is there a non-root user can get from a
given filesystem (/, /u01, etc.) to the disk-level to see if the disk is
local or SAN-attached?

If I can get from a filesystem to the disk devices (cXtXdX), I can get it
from there.

Thanks!
