dgid conformity after hostname modified under solaris - Veritas Volume Manager
This is a discussion on dgid conformity after hostname modified under solaris - Veritas Volume Manager ; after renaming the hostname on a 2.6 SOLARIS,the dgid reflects
the old hostname. Is there a command line to rewrite the dgid?
example: old hostname is foo, vxprint -Ath reflects
dgid : 123456789.foo
new hostname is newfoo, vxprint -Ath reflects
dgid : 123456789.foo

vxdg(1m) on 3.0.2 will tell you about vxdg import -C. You'll
need to deport/import to change the hostname.
