NB 4.5 (FP 6) gui unusable

When I do this:

# /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/jnbSA &
2173
#
The log file for this execution instance is
/usr/openv/java/logs/root.jnbSA.2173.log

A blank window for the veritas java gui opens, but nothing appears.

The logs say:

# cat /usr/openv/java/logs/root.jnbSA.2173.log

Your DISPLAY environment variable is set as follows:
xxxxxxxxx:10.0

Warning: Cannot convert string "-monotype-arial-regular-r-normal--*-140-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1"
to type FontStruct
getAppletParameter - applet is null, returning default value.

com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/HomeFolder.gif not found.
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/HardDrive.gif not found.

Before upgrading to FP 6, the gui worked fine. Any ideas as to how to troubleshoot/fix
this?

Hi,
Try to set the DISPLAY to the same IP address of the server that you;re logged
in to.
for example:
tcsh
setenv DISPLAY 10.2.20.32:0
this should resolve the problem.
