This is just a notice:
The IBM Magstar 3590 library is not fully supported by anything other than
NetBackup 3.4 . Version 3.2 supports the robot as long as it is handled
by a Solaris or AIX system. This means that you will have to run a separate
PC just for the robot. The commands will then be passed to your NT Master
Server. Also, configuration of the 3494 requires third-party drivers and
an Install Shield - based software installation to make the robot communicate
with the master server. In addition, a host-type file will need to be edit
with the IP address for the robotics connection.
Overall a pretty lengthy procedure, not for newbies. If anyone needs help
