After working with the product for a while you quickly learn this hastily
ported Unix application. We are considering expanding our use of the product
and are wondering if we should move the master server to Solaris. Does
anyone have experience with a Solaris master vs an NT master backing up NT
machines?

What other benefits if any are there in moving to Solaris?

We are backing up 30 NT servers with about 3/4 a terabyte of data to one
master server attached to a 15 table 35/70 dlt.
