The ACLs are backed up by default in NetBackup. When restoring files using
the Backup, Archive and Restore GUI you are prompted with an option to "Restore
without access-control attributes (Windows clients only)" after clicking
"Start Restore of Marked Files...". The default is to restore files with
the access-control attributes. Hope this helps.
