I am receiving the following errors randomly during my backups in the /var/adm/messages
log file::

I have 2 LTO drives that have both been replaced last week. The tape drives
start to act strange...they will not release tapes, jobs get hung, and I
will see status 84 media write errors on backups.

Has anyone else run into this problem. I have a SUN 220R as a master/media
server and a Storagetek L180 tape robot w/ 2 LTO2's and some disk storage
attached.

Any help would be appreciated.
