nbu_vsp_cache
New installation of veritas 6 mp3, using netapp as nearline storage Windows
2003, 2 partitions, os on c: veritas on d:. when i run a backup job to nearline
storage. Netbackup create a file on the c drive "c:\nbu_vsp_cache\vxfiVspCachefileVSP"
which grows until it take all the disk space up and fails then need to reboot
server to clear. Have disable VSP but still create this huge file. i assume
it required and if so how do i force it to use the d Dirve when there is
move space available

Re: nbu_vsp_cache
You can set the VSP cache file location under Host Properties -> Client ->
VSP (from memory). You can then force it to use the drive with plenty of
space.

Re: nbu_vsp_cache
Even though you think you disabled VSP, it may not really be disabled IF you
have this particualr client defined under master server "client attributes".
If it is, you can click on Windows Open file backups and UNCHECK "Enable
Windows Open File Backups".
Also, if you really must conduct open file snapshot, try defining VSP to
utilize a specific drive which has the needed space and safely accomodate
your open file snapshot. ---Durane
