Have you got the Removable Storage Management service disabled under Windows
(I would recommend this if not)? I think you can get this message if you
have that service disabled. I normally just ignore it

Search for "Removable Storage Manager" here;

....and you could also search for "ntmsdata".


There are several docs relating to different issues. I suggest that you
need to read them all, and then decide what to do.


Myself, I normally add either of these as an exclusion to ALL Windows based
clients;
C:\Windows\System32\NtmsData
....or...
C:\WinNT\System32\NtmsData
....depending upon where Windows is installed to.


AFAIK, this folder is also used to hold NTBackup catalogs. So, as long as
you are not also using NTBackup on any of the clients, then it is safe to
exclude. If you are using NTBackup then you will have to read the docs and
decide what to do about it.
