Hi,

I am currently configuring NOM (Netbackup Operation Manager) in order to
have snmp traps generated after events.
My question is that the generated traps seems to have a snmp V2 format, but
the OID seems to be a snmp V1 one...
An example of a "Informative" trap got with a trap reciever :

SNMP Version : 2
TimeStamp : 3191 hours 54 minutes 8 seconds
Enterprise : .1.3.6.1.4.1.1302.3.12.10.2.0.4.0.0

Variable Bindings:

Name:
.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0
Value:
(TimeTicks)1149084868

Name:
.1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.1.0
Value:
(OID).1.3.6.1.4.1.1302.3.12.10.2.0.4.0.0

Name:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.1302.3.12.10.1.1
Value:
(OctetString)bt1sss0r

Name:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.1302.3.12.10.1.2
Value:
(OctetString)93 (Active) Job Completed with Exit Status 0
...
...
...

Why there are two '0' at the end of the OID?
Why a '0' before the '4' in the oid (snmp V1 specific I believe)

Is the snmp agent can be configured? I think if yes that should be done with
the /opt/VRTSamnom/SNMP/cc_trapd.conf file, but how?

Is it possible to generate snmp V1 traps with NOM?

Thanks for your answers, I didn't find any informations on the web about
that... :-(

Arsene.
