  1. Sap restores...complex setup

    Hi all,
Heres hoping you can fix my problem: thanks in advance if you do.

    Server: Solaris9
    Client:W2000 : clustered active-active

Server Version 5.1 , client is 5.1mp3a (didnt work on 5.1 either).
    Agent:SAP.

Problem: after a large amount of faffing weve finally got online and offline
backups to work with the SAP agent in Windows cluster.
Now we're trying to restore. Everything looks good, we plough through the
restore menus , pick our backup and our file of interest to let it do its
stuff and we end up with a n error which contradicts. Recall its already
given us the option to select the corrupted (missing in our case) file so
it clearly knows its backed it up, but will it restore from tape? No it wont.
    Any pointers gratefully received.

    Regards,Jim
