Overnight, something happened to Netbackup and I cannot determine what. This
morning, I cannot run reports because NB daemons are down. Upon attempt
to start NB 5.0GA, I get these messages in syslog:

Jun 13 06:52:00 bravery vmd[3707]: [ID 625030 daemon.error] unable to obtain
bound socket, no port number available for vmd (0)
Jun 13 06:52:00 bravery vmd[3707]: [ID 423164 daemon.error] terminating -
daemon cannot obtain socket (58)
Jun 13 06:52:06 bravery bprd[3712]: [ID 192819 daemon.error] Cannot contact
NetBackup bpdbm. Terminating.
Jun 13 06:52:07 bravery tldcd[3788]: [ID 643126 daemon.error] unable to obtain
bound socket, cannot find Internet service tldcd/tcp
Jun 13 06:52:07 bravery tldcd[3788]: [ID 147959 daemon.error] Daemon has
terminated abnormally

Media Manager daemons seem to start without error, just the NB daemons are
having problems. Made sure the nsswitch.conf file had services pointing
to files before anything else. Gave the socket time to reset, but no avail.
Rebooted box, still no luck. Running on SPARC Solaris 9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
