I have been getting the exact same error on a new Windows 2003 SQL server
and was wondering the issue, I am stumped at the moment. Server was commissioned
about a month ago and has some successful backups, but only about 10% of
them are succeeding and I see no rhyme or reason as to why. I backup over
200 servers and none of them have this issue. Ran chkdsk, reinstalled backup
agent, confirmed network traffic is OK, etc, cannot figure it out for the
life of me. Any help on this would be much appreciated.
