How can it be possible that when i choose volume pool A (containing only
LTO2) in policy and default storage unit. Buckup is created on tapes that
are in pool B (containing only LTO1).
It happens every time when LTO2 is being used at the moment of starting of
the policy A, and unassigned tape from pool B is automaticaly moved to pool
A.
Pool A is not a scratch pool and neither is Pool B.
Do anyone have any clue ?
NetBackup will only move tapes between a scratch pool and a non-scratch
pool, so I have no idea how it is doing this. Have you checked:
-That it definitely isn't a scratch pool
-You don't have "Override Policy Volume Pool" set in the schedule
Beyond that, I don't know *shrug*
