Thread: Exchange2003 logs not truncated

  1. Exchange2003 logs not truncated

    Hi all,

    I'm running 9.1 SP1 with the Exchange2003 Agent.
The backup is ok but the logs are still there....
Instead using ntbackup native utility by Windows2000 Server the backup is ok
    and also logs are truncated....

    Any idea ?

P.S. I was running BackupExec 9.0 before and log where correctly flushed,
but due to other issues with remote agents and AOFO I was forced by support
to upgrade to the latest version....

keep in mind that only full and incremental backups will perform log
maintenance. Sounds like a support call is in order to be sure that
everything is still configured correctly. Also, this forum is for
VERITAS Cluster Server so unless VCS is in the picture (not mentioned
here) you might get more BE feedback on the other forum.
