  1. Issues with Veritas 9.1 and IBM VXA-2

I have the following server setup :

IBM xSeries 225 with ServeRAID 5i RAID Controller running a RAID 5
    array
IBM VXA-2 tape drive run by a dedicated IBM U160 PCI Controller

The operating system is Microsoft SBS 2003 Server.

When I attempt to install Backup Exec 9.1 and allow it to load Veritas
tape drivers the server blue screens and reboots itself.

Can anyone offer a solution to this problem???

  2. Re: Issues with Veritas 9.1 and IBM VXA-2

BTW, The stop error is the following :

    STOP 0x0000007E in 0exabyte2.sys

looks more like a tape driver issue, are you using native windows driver or
    veritas driver.
